25% of YouTube Partner Program creators earn money through Shorts since revenue sharing introduction.
YouTube reports that over 1 in 4 creators within its ad-sharing program are now earning money through its short-form video service, Shorts. Since introducing revenue sharing on Shorts last year, over 25% of channels in the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) are now generating income via this feature. Google-owned YouTube has paid $70 billion to creators, artists, and media companies over the last three years.
