75-year-old Bend pedestrian, James Ray Carter, was fatally struck by a semi-truck on the southbound left-hand lane of Bend Parkway in Oregon. The crash occurred near milepost 139 and the Reed Market Road overpass on Wednesday at 8:23 p.m. The highway was closed for approximately four hours during the investigation. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and the truck driver was uninjured.
