30-year-old Christopher Rashard Harris, a former Danville Food Lion employee, has pleaded guilty to one count of Hobbs Act robbery after robbing the store at gunpoint, taking over $1,200. On June 28, Harris entered the store where he previously worked, gave the cashier money, and when the register opened, he pointed a gun at the cashier, grabbed the cash drawer, and fled with approximately $1,217. Harris was arrested a week later and confessed to the robbery.
