21-year-old Dinesty Selmon was arrested for attempting to kidnap a baby from Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. Selmon allegedly spent weeks casing the hospital, gaining entry via an unauthorized access card, and planning to claim the baby as her own. She was arrested in Shreveport and charged with attempted kidnapping and seven counts of unauthorized entry of a business. The child was never removed from the hospital room.
