47-year-old Andrew Swindells paid £100 for a meet-and-greet service at Manchester Airport for his £30,000 BMW One Series. While he was in the US, his car's on-board telemetry system alerted him to a 'serious collision'. BMW called him, and he discovered that a valet staff member had crashed his car into a concrete bollard in a multi-storey car park. The airport has since apologized and settled with his insurers.
