Renault invests $320m in Sandouville plant to produce electric vans from 2026, hiring 550 workers.

Renault plans to invest $320 million in its Sandouville assembly plant in Northern France to produce new-generation electric vans from 2026. The project, which is part of Renault's electric vehicle unit Flexis, involves a joint venture with Volvo and French shipping and logistics giant CMA CGM. Renault will hire 550 workers over the next four years and add them to its existing 1,850 workforce at the plant.
