Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the kin of deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured in the Ramban accident in Jammu and Kashmir. The accident occurred on Friday when an SUV fell into a 300 feet gorge in Ramban district, resulting in the death of ten people. PM Modi expressed his condolences to the bereaved families and offered prayers for the swift recovery of the injured.
