New gecko species named Cnemaspis vangoghi discovered in Southern Western Ghats, India, resembling Van Gogh's "The Starry Night".

Scientists have discovered a new gecko species in the Southern Western Ghats in India, naming it Cnemaspis vangoghi after Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. The male lizards' striking yellow head and light blue spots on the back resemble Van Gogh's famous painting "The Starry Night." The researchers, who published their findings in the journal ZooKeys, describe the species as a day-active gecko, measuring around 3-4 cm in length.
