MJF, AEW World Champion, is recovering from injuries including a torn labrum, last appearing in December. His contractual status is uncertain but believed to remain with AEW. He met with AEW officials in Boston after Dynamite: Big Business but has not been at an AEW event since Worlds End. His return is expected to continue his storyline with former friend Adam Cole, who is also recovering from a broken ankle.
