Kazakhstan declares state of emergency due to flooding in Abay, Aktobe, Kostanay, and West Kazakhstan regions, causing evacuation of over 1,700 people.

Flooding in several Kazakhstan regions, including Abay, Aktobe, Kostanay, and West Kazakhstan, has led to a state of emergency. Over 455 homes, 5 basements, and 17 social facilities were flooded in West Kazakhstan, prompting evacuation of 350 people, with 92 airlifted by helicopter. Aktobe's Sazdinka River overflowed, resulting in evacuation of 1,417 people, including 623 children, with 547 personnel and 300 National Guard soldiers involved.
