Italy's La Dolce Vita Orient Express luxury train increases prices by 75% to €3,500 per person per night, starting from spring 2025.

Italy's La Dolce Vita Orient Express luxury train has experienced a 75% price increase, with starting rates jumping from €2,000 ($2,168) per person to €3,500 ($3,678) per person per night. The train, operated by French hospitality company Accor, will run nine routes through Italy starting in spring 2025. The price hike is attributed to rising costs, including increased debt service requirements and higher staff costs.
