Police in Christchurch arrested three individuals and seized 13 vehicles during the Chrome NZ car show on 1-3 March, due to participants engaging in dangerous burnouts and speeding. Over 30 speeding fines were issued, with one driver caught at 104 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. The police will continue to take action against antisocial road users and encourage the public to report such incidents to them.
