Two homes on Mission Road in Lac La Biche were both destroyed in separate fires. A house near the Lac La Biche Mission was completely destroyed on February 28 due to an electrical issue, while a garage on a property close to the airport was damaged in a mid-February fire, which is still under investigation by insurance investigators. Both fires occurred on residential properties along the same road.
