Google will bring its Gemini Nano AI model to the regular Pixel 8 smartphone, despite previously stating there were hardware limitations preventing this. The AI model will power two features: Summarize in Recorder and Gboard Smart Reply. While some specifics have not been revealed, it is expected that Gemini Nano will debut in June as part of the Pixel Feature Drop, initially as a developer preview.
