6 Enugu State Assembly members from Labour Party defect to Peoples Democratic Party due to internal party divisions.

Six Enugu State House of Assembly members affiliated with the Labour Party (LP) have officially defected to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The lawmakers, including the majority leader and the chief whip, cited irreconcilable division and ongoing crisis within the Labour Party at national and state levels as reasons for their defection.
