The Augusta Police Department in Maine has appointed Deputy Chief Kevin Lully as its new chief of police. Lully, 52, had been serving as interim chief since the retirement of Chief Jared Mills. Lully has been in law enforcement for 29 years, with 28 years served within the Augusta Police Department, and holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and an associate degree in criminal justice.
