AI is transforming Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) by integrating AI technologies such as AI prescription systems, acupuncture robots, and tui-na (massage) robots, addressing the shortage of experienced TCM professionals at grassroots levels. South China University of Technology researchers have developed an AI equipment that reduces the time-consuming process of assessing physical conditions to just two minutes, using a machine-learning model trained by TCM experts. The integration of AI in TCM aims to improve healthcare services at the grassroots level, offering tailored diagnoses and treatments.
