81-year-old radio legend Tony Blackburn, the first DJ on BBC Radio 1, has hosted his final local radio show after a 43-year career at BBC Berkshire, Oxford, and Solent. Grateful for his listeners' support, Blackburn will continue his Sounds of the Sixties and Tony Blackburn's Golden Hour on Radio 2, as well as a theatre tour. He was recently made an OBE for his services to broadcasting and charity.
