Takarazuka Revue, a Japanese all-female musical theater, admits power harassment by senior members contributed to the death of a 25-year-old member in 2023. After initially acknowledging only work oversee failure, the company admitted to 15 acts of harassment detailed by the deceased member's bereaved family, and issued an apology. The Hyogo prefectural police had previously concluded the member's death as a suicide.
