66-year-old musician Nick Cave of The Bad Seeds says he has "feelings of culpability" over the deaths of his two sons, Arthur and Jethro. Cave lost his 15-year-old son Arthur in 2015 after he took LSD and fell from a cliff, and his 31-year-old son Jethro, who had schizophrenia, in 2022. Cave told the Guardian that people who lose children often feel culpable, especially since the one thing a parent is supposed to do is protect their children.
