Joshua Gregory, 28, drove at speeds exceeding 80mph in a 30mph zone, hitting 31-year-old Sri Lankan national Oshada Jayasundera who was crossing the road with friends. Gregory, who had taken the car from his workplace without permission, is banned from driving for 12 years.
