The USDA Rural Development allocated $3m for 18 energy projects in Kentucky, including a $89k grant for Revlett Grain Farm to install solar systems. In Kansas, $1.8m went towards renewable energy and efficiency projects, including solar arrays for Hi-Plain Farm Equipment, Blake Koehn, and Nichols Ironworks. These investments aim to create jobs, lower costs, and contribute to the clean energy economy, and are part of the Rural Energy for America Program.
