UK car production increased for six consecutive months, with 79,997 cars produced in February, a 14.6% rise from the previous year. Domestic production grew by 58%, while 75% of cars manufactured in February were exported, primarily to the EU (59.9%), the US (14.8%), China (7.1%), Australia (3.3%), and Turkey (2.3%). Production of electric vehicles accounted for over a third of the total output in February.
