Samsung announces Exynos 1480 chipset with 2.75GHz Cortex-A78 cores, 200MP camera support, and Wi-Fi 6E.

Samsung has revealed its new Exynos 1480 chipset, successor to the Exynos 1380 SoC. The chipset, used in the first Galaxy A55, features four powerful Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.75GHz and four efficient Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz, supported by Samsung's new Xclipse 530 GPU based on AMD's RDNA 2 architecture. The Exynos 1480 also supports up to 200MP cameras, Wi-Fi 6E, and faster 5G downlink speeds (up to 5.10Gbps).
