Moira O'Donovan, a retired hospitality employee, has brought a High Court challenge against An Bord Pleanála's decision to grant planning permission for a 15m telecommunications mast in Co Cork. The council initially rejected the application, stating it contravened the local development plan, but An Bord Pleanála successfully appealed the decision. O'Donovan claims the mast would be located too close to residential areas.
