The New York Yankees have acquired infielder Jon Berti from the Miami Marlins in a three-team trade involving the Tampa Bay Rays. The Yankees will send catcher Ben Rortvedt to the Rays and minor league outfielder Juan Cruz to the Marlins. Outfielder Shane Sasaki moves from the Rays to Miami. Berti, who could fill in at third base for the Yankees while DJ LeMahieu is on the injured list, hit .294 with seven homers, 33 RBIs, and 16 stolen bases last year.
