Keysight Technologies plans to acquire Spirent Communications for approximately £1.158 billion ($1.463 million) in cash, offering 199 pence per Spirent share. Spirent's board of directors intends to unanimously recommend the offer, which is conditional on approval from the requisite majority of Spirent shareholders and regulatory approval. The acquisition aims to expand Keysight's electronic design, emulation, and test solutions, as well as provide Spirent with increased resources and a broader product offering.
