Fisker Inc. has drastically cut the price of its only model, the Ocean SUV, by up to 39% as the electric vehicle maker struggles to stay in business. The base price of the top-of-the-line Fisker Ocean Extreme has been cut from about $62,500 to $37,500. Prices for the Sport trim level have been cut from $39,000 to $25,000. These price cuts are aimed at positioning the Ocean as "a more affordable and compelling EV choice," and may signal that the company is attempting to avoid bankruptcy.
