It is the sixth Eid-themed stamp released, with others honoring Diwali, Hanukkah, and Christmas. The stamp allows Canadians to send greetings before the festival in April and can also be used for Eid al-Adha in June, which marks the end of the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.
