Boom Supersonic's XB-1 prototype, nicknamed "Baby Boom," completed its first flight as the company continues developing the Mach 1.7 Overture airliner. The test jet, which took a 12-minute flight, is a foundation for the future Overture, testing key technologies for safe and efficient supersonic flight. Boom aims to bring back the era of the Concorde, with the Overture expected to enter service in 2030.
