Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy raised $1.5 million for the family of slain NYPD officer Jonathan Diller, with $750,000 coming from the sale of NYPD-themed apparel and the rest from Portnoy's personal donation. Diller was fatally shot during a traffic stop in Queens. Portnoy and his company also support Tunnels to Towers, which is paying off the family's mortgage.
