Avelo Airlines launches first scheduled commercial flight out of Lakeland, FL in 35 years to Tweed-New Haven Airport, CT from June 13.

Avelo Airlines has announced its first route from Lakeland Linder International Airport, Florida, to Tweed-New Haven Airport, Connecticut, starting June 13. The airline will operate twice-weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays using Boeing 737s, with introductory one-way fares starting at $72. This marks the first scheduled commercial service out of Lakeland in 35 years and the first passenger service in 12 years.
