49-year-old Ronald Lewis McCarson from Greer died after being run over by heavy machinery at the Pickens County Landfill expansion site in South Carolina on March 25. The incident occurred on Old Liberty Road and both the Pickens County Sheriff's Office and South Carolina Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the cause and manner of death. It remains unclear if McCarson was a Pickens County employee.
