43-year-old man has been charged after a gel blaster was found on a train in Sydney's inner south. The replica gun was spotted on the seat of the train as it passed through Sydenham, with passengers alerting rail staff who then contacted police. The man, who had been sitting alone on the train, was arrested at a home in Carlton. He has been charged with entering or leaving a restricted area without a ticket and possessing an unauthorised prohibited firearm, and has been refused bail.
