Volvo produces last diesel-powered cars amid rising electric sales and emissions regulations.

The move comes as European sales of electric cars surpassed diesel sales for the first time in history, and as environmental concerns and tighter emissions regulations prompt carmakers to shift focus to electric vehicles. Volvo plans to only produce electric vehicles by 2030.
