30 visually impaired students receive AI-assisted Smart Vision glasses for reading and navigation.
30 visually impaired students will receive Smart Vision glasses, a device developed by a Bengaluru-based startup. The glasses, assisted by AI and ML, help visually impaired persons read, recognize objects and faces, and navigate. The Shakuntala Mishra Rehabilitation University in collaboration with Help and Blind Foundation will provide the glasses, allowing users to read printed material in over 50 scripts without assistance.
