The USPS announced $1.5m investment to modernize the Grand Forks Processing and Distribution Center, keeping it open as a Local Processing Center. The facility's outgoing mail processing will be transferred to the Fargo Processing and Distribution Center, as part of a 10-year plan to improve the USPS's organizational and operational processes. The aim is to achieve 95% on-time delivery for all mail products, with no career employee layoffs.
