A second-alarm fire fueled by 30mph winds destroyed a 12-unit strip mall, Frazho Plaza on Groesbeck Highway, Warren on Wednesday night. The fire broke out around 7pm and burned for 90 minutes before being controlled. The entire 24,000-square-foot structure was deemed a total loss and the building faced west, causing the roof to catch fire quickly. Firefighters had to adopt a defensive position due to the building's partial collapse.
