A recent study involving Thai and German scientists shows that recycling stainless steel can significantly reduce the risk of climate change in Thailand, with CO2 savings equivalent to the annual CO2 footprint of almost all inhabitants in Muang Chachoengsao district. Thailand is highly vulnerable to climate change, ranking 9th on the global long-term climate change risk index. Policymakers are urged to create a conducive environment for a professional circular economy to promote climate protection.
