Stormont minister warns of "difficult interventions" needed to address environmental crisis at Northern Ireland's largest freshwater lake, Lough Neagh. Contributing factors to the crisis include nitrogen and phosphorus from agricultural fertiliser, climate change, and invasive zebra mussel species. Last summer, noxious blooms covered large parts of the lake, affecting other waterways and beaches.
