Sabah's government distributes RM7.5 million to water supplies for 355 villages in 12 districts due to prolonged drought, affecting 50,800 households. Working with the National Disaster Management Agency, they are also considering cloud seeding operations for hot and dry weather. The Fire and Rescue Department has been allocated RM267,444 to buy additional equipment for forest and brush fires.
