Pub of the Year award revoked from The Hole in the Wall due to Nazi memorabilia on display.

Pub of the Year stripped of title after Nazi memorabilia found on display. The Hole in the Wall in Bodmin, Cornwall, won the Pub of the Year award by CAMRA Kernow, but was later stripped of the accolade after a complaint was made about a Nazi "swastika armband" on display. The landlord, Steve Hall, claims the issue has been blown out of proportion and the memorabilia was a piece of military memorabilia that has been in the pub since it opened 80 years ago.
