Pilot Ben Pickering co-pilots a C-130H Hercules in RNZAF Base Auckland, participating in Warbirds over Wanaka's final Hercules airshow.

Pilot Ben Pickering, inspired by his father's stories, follows in his footsteps by joining the Royal New Zealand Air Force. He now co-pilots a C-130H Hercules out of RNZAF Base Auckland. The Hercules fleet's final airshow at Warbirds over Wanaka, held over Easter weekend, will celebrate the iconic transport aircraft with a Formation Thunder flypast, handling display, Kiwi Blue parachute display, and a lakefront flare drop.
