Nigerian federal government approves dualisation of Ado-Ekiti-Ikere-Akoko road in 2024 Appropriation Act.
The Nigerian federal government has approved the dualisation of the 31km Ado-Ekiti-Ikere-Akoko road, connecting Ekiti State to the Federal Capital Territory through Ondo, Edo, and Kogi States, due to its strategic significance and high traffic volume. Included in the 2024 Appropriation Act, the project aims to improve transportation and connectivity. Construction is expected to start before the end of the year.
