In northwest Indiana, two men posing as NIPSCO utility workers forced their way into a woman's home in the Lake Dalecarlia area, tied her up, and ransacked the house. The suspects, believed to be driving a yellow rental van with a Pensco logo, remain at large. NIPSCO officials are aware of scammers posing as utility workers, and anyone with information on the home invasion should contact the Lake County Sheriff's crime hotline.
