McDermott has been awarded a sizeable offshore contract by PTTEP Sabah Oil Limited for the Kikeh subsea gas lift project in East Malaysia. The project involves removing an existing gas lift riser, installing a new dynamic riser section and flowline, and connecting it to a subsea production system tied back to the Kikeh FPSO vessel. McDermott has previous experience in the Kikeh field and the nearby Siakap North-Petai field.
