A woman in her 30s was arrested after €300,000 worth of cannabis was seized at Dublin Airport. Revenue officers discovered 15kgs of herbal cannabis vacuum-packed within the luggage of a passenger who had disembarked from a flight from Toronto, Canada. Gardaí arrested the woman and detained her under drug trafficking legislation. The seizure is part of an operation targeting organised crime groups and drug trafficking.
