This was stated by Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al Dosari at the Inter-Parliamentary Union's 148th General Assembly in Geneva, discussing sustainable measures to enhance disabled persons' education and employment opportunities. Al Dosari noted that Qatar was among the first countries to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
