Interstate 80 in Nebraska reopened after being closed due to blizzard conditions. I-80 was initially shut down on Sunday night from Lexington to Ogallala and extended to Kearney due to poor traveling conditions. The reopening occurred on Tuesday after state road crews worked for several hours to clear the roads. Although snow had stopped falling, strong winds continued into the afternoon.
