Indonesian President Joko Widodo approves ro-ro ships for Central Sulawesi-East Kalimantan connection, supporting Nusantara's development.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo has approved the use of roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) ships to connect Central Sulawesi with East Kalimantan, in support of the development of the new capital city Nusantara. Jokowi made this announcement during the inauguration of rehabilitated and reconstructed ports of Wani and Pantoloan in Donggala District, Central Sulawesi. The ro-ro ships would facilitate distribution of Central Sulawesi's products, including agricultural ones, to Nusantara, as the province is geographically facing the new capital city.
